We are lucky

Generally speaking we don’t have a lot of trouble with our water.  On occasion or two I think some bacteria sneaks in and the town hall gets a little heavy handed with the chlorine but for the most part, we have decent water. 

That hasn’t always been the case though.  We’ve seen any homes (we have moved a lot as construction workers) where having awater softener is not only an option, it is a necessity.
