Bands, are you a big follower?

I'm not a big music person.  I like what I like and I generally have no clue who even sings the songs.  I'm one of those people that makes up words that have nothing to do with the songs when I can't understand what the real words really are.  I sound like a complete fool most of the time, what with my bad "pitch" and the fact that I can't carry a tune in a bucket.  Add to that my inventing of words, you have disaster.

Luckily, there are many musicians out there can and do sing very well.  When I think of bands though, I always think of the famous ones.  You know, no one had a clue who Taylor hicks and the Soul Patrol were until he was on American Idol.  But, what about all those other aspiring bands out there that don't get that big break?
