A Re-Modeling Queen

It all started simply enough, I wanted to get rid of the carpet in my family room that was white once upon a time.  And, out it went and a remodeling-queen was born.  Since then, we've put laminate down in the entire family room, putty, sanded and painted the family room and have since moved on to the master bath.  At the present moment, my husband is busily assembling the Jacuzzi tub that will eventually come complete with new flooring, putty, sanded and painted walls and then, then my friends, I will be buying me some new "stuff".

I did get a new sofa a few weeks ago because I simply couldn't live with the old one that had endured potty training a toddler.  But, next, oh, yes, next up bed linens that resemble the ones with some pretty colors, never mind my drab brown suede comforter that has also endured the potty training of a toddler.  And, I do mean the full set, a comforter AND bed linens, this is not an either - or situation.  If I can get away with it, I'll even take something with a little more color than my husband can stand, which, by the way, is not much.

And, sooner than later, I'm getting some lamps for my family room as these over-head lights are killer.  My freshly painted family room, a nice pumpkin orange, is going to be even more awesome when I add at least one floor lamp and one table lamp.  Oh no, I did not do all this work just to let things be done half-way.  I'm getting the full job and I'm getting it done my way.
