A Franchise Business

I remember when our little town got it's first mall.  All the rage at that time was a particular fast food restaurant that you generally only see in malls.  I've seen them alot lately independently (we actually have one of those now too) and my dad wanted to try to get the franchise because he absolutely loved their food.  It was fun to watch him play "businessman" as he went about all he legalities of it.

He was a school teacher but had a degree in business and that was his forte.  So, I watched him carefully do the paperwork (we are talking pre-computers here) and talk the talk, walk the walk and in the end, he still wasn't chosen but it was some good lessons learned at an early age.
