Burning Fat or Fat Burning

It’s amazing how many people at any given time would tell you that they are on a “diet”.  I prefer to use the word “diet” as it is intended and the food I eat, regardless of it’s worth is my diet.  And, when you consider what foods are good for you and the ones that are not, you can also start to learn which foods aid in burning fat.

And, if you are like me, a few sit-ups would help burn some belly fat but making major changes to my diet are simply not going to happen.  I eat what I eat and I have to simply work on burning fat and then make sure the exercises take care of fat burning.

Diet Pills

Every time I think that I may have to be in public with a swim suit on, I start to get concerned.  So, with the offer to take a 30 day Challenge and work on the fight against childhood obesity at the same time, I’m jumping on the bandwagon to hopefully get past the hump and get some weight off.

In the past I have used diet pills with a great deal of success and as soon as well all get over the flu here, I’m going in search of of the right pill for me.

Health Travel

I have been in deep discussions what is going to happen with healthcare in the U.S. and people fighting the idea that socialized healthcare could be a good thing is large.  I personally have never lived where socialized medicine is used and what I’ve heard from my Canadian friends is all good.  Some of them even question Americans for their lack of support for it.

So, a you can imagine with the health care i the U.S. is as expensive as it is, health travel is just becoming more and more popular.

Unlocked Phones

If it had been asked to discuss this a few months ago, I would have been very lost.  But, I won a phone at a conference and it is brand new phone but it belongs to a network that we don’t use.  So, we’ve basically just put it up until we can do something with it..like sell it.

So, if you are looking to find an unlocked phone, you have several options, but obviously you need to be careful who you trust and make sure you get the right person to work with.

I’m not an expert but I know what pretty ceramic tile looks like when I see it

We started this mass remodeling effort last year about this time and we’ve yet to finish off the bathroom.  My husband is really good at most everything we needed to have done and he even did an awesome job with the ceramic tile.  Too bad he didn’t finish the job he started.

Yea, that’s right, he started last November in the bathroom and the tile is on the floor and partially around the tub but it is no where near completed.  I’m not sure what he would do if I decided to start laying tile…since I’ve never done it before…he might be a bit alarmed.  But, someone’s got to finish this project.

Michelle Obama, the mother more than the First Lady

When people ask Michelle Obama to describe herself, she doesn't hesitate. First and foremost, she is Malia and Sasha's mom.

This one statement confirms what I’ve said all along, Michelle Obama will be the greatest First Lady ever.  How is it that I can think that when she is saying that she puts motherhood before being the First Lady?

Well, that’s exactly what I mean.  She is the only First Lady in my lifetime that has gone out of her way to make sure that motherhood comes first.  And, with that, every mother in America is given just a wee bit more validity in their job as a mother.

That’s not to say I didn’t feel valid in my role as a mother before but now, now that the most prevalent woman in America has let it be known how important her job as a mother is.

So, yea, she is one heck of a woman if you ask me….

I designed my own wedding invitations

I’ve been married and had the big wedding with the big dress and the expensive…everything.  But my last marriage was very quaint.  Just me, my husband, a couple of witnesses and a internet friend to do the ceremony.  We did invite people, more like we announced our marriage because we knew no one would make it to the ceremony.

But, wedding invitations are nothing to take lightly because they really do say a lot about you.  People look at them and wonder how serious you are, how much thought you really put into them and me?  Mine were Mickey Mouse, what about you?

Living in your motorhome permanently

When I met my husband he was working construction and the job demanded traveling.  Basically the job entailed moving about once a year and sometimes more often.  So, instead of renting an apartment, we bought a camper.  And, we crammed everything we owned into that camper.  And it was awesome.

But, that’s not to say we didn’t fret over motorhome insurance.  We had everything we owned, including several computers in that motor home, TV’s, DVD players and more.  We chanced it for several years and we were lucky.  We ended up selling it shortly after our first child was born.  We were really fortunate.

What man doesn’t drool over car accessories?

My husband is pure geek.  He is a brain child and can operate almost any computer with that of a pure genius.  And, he once bought me a car and the motor was not even in it.  Well, it was in it, it was just mostly in the trunk and the backseat.  But, he put it all back together and I drove on my way happily…or maybe just a tad bit confused, I didn’t even need a car.

But, since we met, he has basically had whatever automobile we could afford.  And, luckily for him, we were able to get him the car of his choice last summer.  Since that time, he has turned into a junky when it comes to car accessories.  Every time I turn around he is purchasing some decals and rims and polish.  What gives?  Where did my computer geek go?
