Date Night (Movies)

I love Date Nights. I always have. Unfortunately, now that I’m married, these nights are fewer and further between. I’m sure once we have kids, they’ll vanish altogether, so I’m trying to enjoy them now while I can. That being said, I do not always enjoy actually getting dressed up and planning a night out after a long week of work. But getting take out and watching a movie on tv by direct? That sounds perfect to me. That’s become my husband’s and my go-to “date” these days. Part of me thinks I should make him work a little harder to plan something, but let’s be honest. I’m as lazy as he is, and the chance to put on some pajamas and eat Chinese take-out while watching a movie from the comfort of our very own couch is too much to pass up a lot of times. I guess a lot of people would say we should take advantage of the opportunity to get out and “live it up” while we can but I’m pretty ok with just hanging out here. I’ll be on the couch.

Sliders is the best science fiction tv show

Sliders is the best science fiction TV show. There is some debate over whether seasons 1-3 were the best or were seasons 4-5 the best. I like all of the seasons for different reasons. I watch all the seasons on satellite tv that I got after seeing these http://www.expertsatellite.com. Seasons 1-3 focused on alternate histories. There were some weird episodes. The funniest one that I can think of is when Rembrandt was a superstar on an alternate earth. That one was funny. Rembrandt was my favorite character on the show. He always seemed to be the most level headed one. Quinn Mallory played his role really good. He was the genius who invented the sliding machine. My favorite episode with Quinn was the one where time was moving backwards and he met his lost love Daylin. There was a constant battle for Quinn's love when Maggie came on the show in season 3. I think that he and Maggie made a good couple, but I do think that he could have been nicer to Wade. She was so in love with him, but he did get jealous when he would see her with someone else.

The Cromaggs started to show up more in season four. I think the show became too much about the crommags. I like some of the episodes in season four. Some of them were really cool. The episode where the hotel they usually visited became a virtual hotel was really high tech. I think they should have made more episodes like that. I wish they would start filming this show again. It was science fiction at its best.

Ink Grabber

Lately it has been way to easy to just forgo the hefty price of  inkjet cartridges and use our laser printer.  But, even that printer is starting to show some use and I’m on the prowl for some  printer ink for both the laser printer and my favorite inkjet.  The best part about both of these is knowing how many copies I can get and where to find cheap ink when the time comes.  Otherwise, like many people I would spend copy after copy of smeared ink and purple lines.  Instead, it’s easy to plan ahead and get the best bang for my buck
